Overview
Vertical Aerospace (UK) is developing a piloted eVTOL air taxi. Company marketing describes Valo as targeting roughly 150 mph cruise and up to ~100 miles range with vertical takeoff (manufacturer targets — not independently verified here). In April 2026 Vertical reported a two-way piloted transition flight with its VX4 prototype under UK CAA oversight; type-certification timing has been publicly re-baselined by the company (verify latest IR for dates).
